Rebrand note

Formerly known as Calibre Investments, the business rebranded on 15th July 2015 to Sanlam Private Wealth. Sanlam Private Wealth, its parent company, bought a stake in Calibre Investments in 2010. Sanlam Ltd is a multinational financial services company, with its head office in Bellville, South Africa.

Sanlam Private Wealth is a member of both the JSE Securities Exchange and Safex. Like our institutional counterpart, Sanlam Investment Management, we are part of the Sanlam Investments cluster. Our clients benefit from the investment skills, depth of systems and research practices of the other businesses that form part of this cluster.
Sanlam Private Wealth was formed in 1999 under the Gensec Private Clients brand. In 2001 we acquired the South African private client businesses of ABN Amro, formerly known as Huysamer Stals and, in 2002, Merrill Lynch Private Clients, formerly known as Smith Borkum Hare. The business re-branded to Sanlam Private Investments in 2002 and recently to Sanlam Private Wealth.

Sanlam Private Wealth is an investment and financial services house with extensive experience in serving the needs of private investors, corporate clients and institutional investors. The mission of Sanlam Private Wealth is to provide honest, timely, objective and accurate general advice to help our clients achieve long financial security and accumulate wealth in an increasing manner. Our service is built on personal trust and is based on solid long-term relationships. Sanlam Private Wealth provides advisory and dealing services, equity portfolios, funds management, trading portfolios, corporate finance and general advice to our clients.
